THE ILLUSION OF TRUTH
Deep within the consciousness of mankind, dwells two conflicting hemispheres of right & wrongs for which seem endlessly at battle for justification for the right to be. Truth my friend is the greatest illusion for it is like color seen at slightly different shades from ones persons retinas to another. Humanity has forever found justification for actions which differ from one society to another. Justification for war in the name of God or the burning books at the time of the Inquisition, stopping people from free thinking & expression. We justify our truths on a day to day basis & whether it be simply an act of habit like smoking or drinking & drug taking & so on, everyone has a truth within themselves that justifies their own actions."It must be true, it is so written in the Holy books", I heard one speak. Though true for him if he is Christian & reads the Bible but not as true for the Muslim reading the Koran or the Jew reading the Tanakh & so on.Everyone has a truth, yet what is truth really?. If a color blinded man looks at the sky & sees a beautiful green color, & you see blue, why impose on him & try to convince him that seeing the sky blue is much nicer. Who are we to infringe? Yet as human beings we feel the need to reflect our point of views on others although we may not have had the invitation to do so. Black or white or shades of grays we see everything according to our own journey & experiences of life. We cannot see a work of art the same as each other, it is impossible, it would require an exact life existence & exact combination of events through out our upbringing to bring about an exact picture that the work of art reflects. Then take into consideration genetics which is in itself is another huge subject which also creates different interpretations of what we see, feel, taste, smell & touch. It is impossible for me to explain what it is like to be burnt by fire if you have not felt it for yourself. No matter how hard I try to express my emotions, feelings & experience of being burnt, you shall never understand truly the meaning until you too feel the painful sensation for yourself. Therefore, life & humanity is more complex than we could ever truly understand.Truth is more complex than we could ever understand & the events & consequences that we face through out our lives are nothing more than the legacy that we create for ourselves. No one will every truly feel & understand your legacy, no one but you has felt every stone under every step in your path of life. Only you can justify your own existence & express the best you can so people interpret the way you wish they would, but be warned. For every time you express your truth, there will be others that disagree & then each of the ten would have a slightly different version as well. Like Chinese whispers, we speak & like sand in the wind our words fade with time. What is forbidden today, next decade will become fashionable. Homosexuality a no no, today fashionable & acceptable. Swearing in public a no no, but now it is heard all over the television. Sexuality a no no & a hidden taboo, now a great marketing tool & one of the highest money making subject around. Today a taboo tomorrow what? If we cannot have what we truly want, we justify it with "truth", our truth to justify the reason to have it. Yet, I ask you, Is that not hypocrisy my friend? Justify if you must your beliefs & actions, but do not infringe on others & force your ideas upon them. Let everyone grow on their own & teach not truth but tolerance of differences & nurture the young with tools for finding knowledge, not give answers just based on your beliefs alone. Open for the children the door to knowledge with a guiding hand & allow their own creativeness to express without your infringing truths.

THE DARK CREATURE WITHIN
Like a forest within a labyrinth of shadows, my mind searches for an escape from the deep inner pain felt within the constraints of my mind.
Yearning for light but only seeing darkness.
A slight glimmer of hope casts the shadows away like a dusty curtain in an abandoned house, but through the window I see only a mirage of hope like a memory gradually fading with time, keeping me holding on desperately for a dream to escape.
Once hoping to become like a colorful butterfly, instead I arise a moth from a cocoon, a remnant of a hopeful man to now a character full of confusion & bitterness.
Tripping over my own two feet as I journey a merciless path battling an enemy that knows no remorse. A seemingly creature for it bares no name.
A fight to the bitter end I attempt casting away the dark one with the little stamina I have left.
The dark mysterious creature within, the successful one that wins by breaking down defences & clashing consistently against my will, leaving me confused & feeling worthless.
My warm tears, the lump in my throat, the constant agony of a depression that slays my inner being like a knight attacking a man with no armor.
The hero of pain, the creature, the one almighty, strong & forever like a plague engulfing everyone that crosses its path.
The dark mysterious creature within, known to many & feared by all, for the modern world curses all with illusions of prosperity & freedom, yet like a veil hides that which we don't want to see.
Within every luminous path is a point that is hidden from light, there a dark character dwells amongst its shadows, waiting for it's next victim like a panther on the prowl.
I too once had the naivety of a hopeful man, but I have been taken prisoner by the dark creature within.
The battle is gruesome & misleading, the feeling of struggle like swimming upstream in the murky waters of my mind.
I hear of many who battle the dark creature with alcohol, swallowing fermented potions & taking drugs like alchemists mixing chemicals to consume for a remedy to poison the creature within.
I chose the invisible tongue, a voice within my mind like a sword I sharpen its point with affirmations of hope. I search for a light at the end of a tunnel, for wise men speak of such places.
Like a traveler from another time lost in a modern world I crave for the ability to fit in. I see a world overtaken by greed & corruption, a history that repeats itself with unworthy rulers, a world over run by an enigma of characters who justify themselves by robbing from the poor in the name of economics, a world infected by a generation of immoral marketers like ingrown nails digging deeper into society & infesting the young minds with illusive lifestyles, a democracy dissolving with excuse for battling terrorism & the bandits of authority which lead with cold hearts & iron fists.
Perhaps mans dark creatures within have learnt the secret & transcended space & over shadowed the frail thread of time like a virus infection that should look like dollars signs under a microscope.
Behold, the dark creature within has some how escaped into the world.
What will become of mankind if we solidify our hearts & let go of compassion & love. Not only do we need to battle against the metaphorical dark creature within but keep it at bay if we come into contact with it out & about in this modern world.
I ask you my friend, "who really is the dark creature within?"

Virtual Heroin Of The Future
The inhabitants of this planet may one day gather together in an artificial reality from which no man, woman nor child will escape it's addictive grip.A race of humans so vulnerable & yet so naive will have no choice but to be led by a temptation greater than we could ever imagine.With technology growing at such a rapid rate, the microchip expanding it's capacity by double every year & computers now beginning to learn on their own. It is inevitable that our perception of high tech today in the year 2008, will be far outdated & old fashioned in lets say twenty to thirty years from now.It is my concern that as a witness to the human experience, that we as a race are driven more by our emotional desires than by our real necessities. History has proven to this day that people's wanting for something greater than ourselves has allowed their lives to be ruled by dictators & religious leaders.One only needs to search on the Internet by asking how many religions exist in the world at present & you will see that there are literally tens of thousands.So many people easily influenced by false hope.One only has to think how television has also influenced a generation of people with the way we interact with each other, the way we dress, the way we talk, the way we judge society & the way in which we interpret the societies values, have been one way or another taught to us by Television.Television with all it's advancements has been a powerful tool for shaping our human personal developments, it also has slightly destroyed society by numbing us with realistic movies & news of destruction giving human tragedy less relevance.A new world was created I feel when the Internet began to expand throughout the world, now in just about every home in the developed countries. Soon every child in every school will have access to the Internet.The Internet has been a very powerful & useful tool for many reasons but it also has been responsible for many temptations & marriage break ups & has led to some hideous shameful human examples of indecencies.We all need to be made aware of or curious nature & so that we control technology, not vice versa. Is it any wonder why so many people are more & more in financial debt, which in turn also breaks apart relationships, marriages & families?.Technology is continuously developing more & more rapidly & as it does the experiences for our senses continue to increase to the point that many new addictions begin to crop up.Think of how many types of addictions the Internet has created for many users. Or rather how many addictions people have created with their freewill to choose but are weakened when they are faced with such powerful temptations.New technologies are constantly being developed because people are spending the money to purchase them, & no wonder economies are crashing. Everyone wants it all today & their contentment's are short lived because we compensate what we really need for what we perceive to make us happy. Companionship, family, good health, shelter & food are the bare essentials, though they seem to be pushed aside for short lived pleasures. Families suffer, health deteriorates, shelter becomes unsatisfactory unless it is luxurious & food is indulged & wasted as we take it all for granted.Everything else like the new vehicles coming out with all the latest add on's & homes with five bedrooms & six bathrooms & powder rooms & so on are just short lived forms of gratification. Yet we still are suckers for punishment & only think of today without realising the long term consequences.Remember, with a steady average two income couple, you can have it all, just consolidate it onto your home mortgage & all your hearts desires will be granted courtesy of the banks. All for the taking if you want it but don't forget the monthly statements & reminders to pay & in three years everything will be outdated & you will feel unsatisfied.It is at this point in my article that I make a prediction for our future, no hocus pocus or psychic abilities just good old logical common sense.With the microchip doubling its capacity every year & computers beginning to learn on their own & beginning to develop their own algorithms & calculations, it won't be long before the next biggest thing to hit us hard will be virtual reality.Many scientific documentaries, books & magazines are claiming that at the rate computers are developing, it will only take about twenty to thirty years before you cannot distinguish a difference between reality & virtual reality. In fact the military & pilots are already using virtual reality to train their soldiers. Pilots & doctors are also performing their training using some form or another of virtual reality to create realistic complex training operations.Computer games are also becoming extremely realistic & interactive.The Japanese are investing a huge amount of money in virtual reality & I recall a documentary that had a Japanese computer scientist claiming that the only thing stopping virtual reality from becoming more like reality is the lack of speed from micro processing chips, but with microchips doubling in capacity every year according to all the technology journals, it won't be long before micro processing speeds catch up with virtual reality. So what does all this mean & why the article name Virtual Heroin Of The Future?.If in twenty to thirty years time we develop extremely rich high tech virtual reality,what do you think will be the next drug?Think for a moment about some of the other simple examples earlier in this article about the powerful effect Television & the Internet has on society.Now imagine for a moment a machine in your home that will allow you to lay down in, close your eyes & be put into a trance like state that will alter you consciousness with electromagnetic energy. A machine that will be able to give you experiences of flying like a bird in the sky, a machine that will be able to create for you a holiday of your choice, A machine that will create for you every fantasy & desire imaginable & unimaginable. Imagine a device that will be able to create for you a romantic partner that will give you companionship & sexual gratification unlike anyone else & if you get bored with your partner, a choice of downloads will be available for purchase to change its character. Think of the movie Total Recall & Star Trek with the Holodek, virtual worlds that are just so real. Fiction or non fiction?It is inevitable that we will go down this track of virtual addiction, who can deny it?.Therefore if our evolution allows us to create such technology, would this not turn humanity into introverts?.There would not be any reason to leave the house, other than to go to work. Work places might have rooms built so staff can connect to the virtual grid & catch up where one left off.What about marriages?.Statistics tell of higher than usual divorce rates within developing countries, some up to fifty percent divorce rates.What then if we could create our own ideal virtual partners that you could also download updates for & that will make your partner more argumentative & harder to please for the sake of creating a more realistic partnership?.What if computers one day become self aware in the long term future & begin to interact with us also in the virtual grid?Would computers then have access to our deepest's levels of consciousness?.Who will the computers tell about our most secret thoughts?.We Human beings are only limited by our imaginations & it is safe to assume that we always some how get what we want at any cost therefore a virtual reality future will be the ultimate expansion of our limitless creativeness.Although such a future to some degree may sound somewhat exciting, it will also have to have some very negative effects when it comes to family & social interactions. On the other hand, it may also allow some doctor to use his virtual reality operating training skills to give a chance for us older ones to live long enough to witness such a turn in humanities history.Perhaps we will all be able to meet up in the virtual grid & just like My space & Face book, be able to create our own little nook hidden away in some virtual corner of cyber space.See you all there in the future.Remember. A pioneer & highly regarded expert on the theory of time travel.
I highly recommend looking into Dr Ronald Mallett's work as I believe like many others that he will be the first one to build the true fully functioning time travel machine.
What fascinates me the most about this subject is the question about free will.
Has everything been predestined or are we creating our future as we go along?
A very philosophical question that perhaps will soon be answered.

If someone asked me which group I would recommend that is completely different to any other, I would have to say Therion.
I've been collecting music for quite some years now & have a decent collection.
Of all my music, Therion would have to rank within my top 5 most favourite bands.
There is nothing out there like them & I have tried searching hard.
Although they are a metal group a lot of my friends who don't like metal seem to comment on how much they like Therion.
For those that already know the band, then you know what I mean.
If You have not heard them then watch them here & see what I mean.
It's very hard to find a record shop that sells all of Therion's many albums but I found that Amazon holds just about all their best stuff & they have really good prices as well. Check Them Out
